Each spring grant schools submit Art One or Foundation level portfolios for review by AP Studio Art grant teachers. For the past three years the portfolios have been submitted in a digital format and include six "core" works: contour line, portraiture, 1 and 2 point perspective, value still life, schematic color, sculpture in-the-round. Portfolios are evaluated on a scale from "1" to "6" based on the College Board Scoring Guidelines and the Instructional Goals for Studio Art. Detailed feedback forms with accolades and suggestions for improvement are provided to teachers and students.
